Most e-paper devices today are single-purpose. They ship as reading or writing devices.

Kitiki is a 13.3-inch e-paper laptop that can do “computer” things. You can write scripts, book flights or send-emails. If you want it to do more, it ships with Linux.

(some early progress)

Why?

In this life, I think I can only do computer work. At least, it’s what I’ll get paid for. But none of that work requires me to move. It’s sedentary, 9-5 work. I wish for a computer that gives me an excuse to get up. It’s about taking my work to a park, a beach, or a mountaintop. Why do I have to be glued to a desk?

Something about the work you'll do on this computer should bring you joy. Maybe you use it to write that story you've been putting off, the film scene that lives free in your mind, or to send that career switch e-mail. It's a weird new computer to start doing new things.

I hope you enjoy it. I hope you get outside. And it's just a little bit boring enough that your brain kicks on with some fresh new ideas.
